Other than the fact that Leah, the owner and founder, is phenomenal?
Atlanta Yoga Scene is a blog, a master schedule, a place for events, and a directory. It is ALL THINGS YOGA!
Started in December 2010, Atlanta Yoga Scene has quickly become THE place for yogis in Atlanta to find everything they need. From new studio openings to old school vs new school yoga, Leah has all aspects of yoga in the ATL covered.
Did you know there are 17 yoga events going on in the Atlanta Area during the last 3 weeks in May?
I didn't, but Atlanta Yoga Scene did!
There are also 94 CLASSES! to be taken after 4:30pm on a Wednesday in Atlanta.
Can't think of any excuses not to go to yoga now...
I wouldn't call myself a yogi, but I would call myself a casual yoga goer who desperately wants to be able to do a full wheel or a headstand. Sadly, my practice is not there, but after seeing there are so many classes tonight, I will be hitting the 7:30pm Hot class with Jason at Atlanta Hot Yoga. (I need all the extra help I can get and the heat helps a lot!) Why there? It's 4 miles from my house, 7:30 is a great time and Jason's class is awesome. Convenience pointed out to me by Atlanta Yoga Scene. Thank you, Leah.
This website is for everyone, students and teachers alike. It is a way for students to find out what teachers are teaching in Atlanta, and for teachers to find out what students in Atlanta truly want out of their yoga practice.
Hey Leah, do you know what I want? A full class of Savasana...can we get a movement started for this? a studio willing to have an hour of Savasana? 6:30-7:30, a wind down after work? Preferably in a hot room? C'mon, you know you want it, too.
