I got the official e-mail yesterday! Savannah Rock 'N' Roll Marathon & Half Marathon has been filled to capacity at 23,000 people! I know I have spoken to a lot of you and we are all headed to Savannah for November 5th!
We have started to get all out fall shipments in at Atlanta Activewear and I wanted to feature what I have been training in that I have LOVED!
Totally obsessed with the whole MPG Sport collection, but I will highlight my go to outfit.
The Gamma Capri is your essential running tight, but of course functions for everything else. Pocket on the bum, reflective taping that looks like ruffles! The material and the fit are amazing for running especially with the crazy warm to cool weather we are having in Atlanta.
Comet Tank: in stock in Cobalt, red will come later!
The Comet Tank is great. Not super tight, but not loose either. Best part? The tonal zebra print MPG has inserted. TO DIE FOR!
Aquila Longsleeve is this season's update to Ursa from previous seasons. Aquila has a cute square cutout and the reflective ruffle taping on the back and shoulders. It also has thumbholes! Lightweight enough for a warm-ish day with a breeze and to layer underneath a jacket in the fall. Tonal animal print contouring panels on the waist as well. So cute!
My final piece to complete the outfit is the matching jacket to the Gamma Capri, the Eclipse Jacket. Ruffle reflective taping for 360* reflectivity, tonal animal print contouring panels, thumbholes, zipper pockets, slightly longer for hip coverage...this jacket has everything you need! The jacket/legging combo looks really sleek, too.
Don't forget about your sweaty bands, too! Diva bands in every color...yes, I do own every color!
I think this will be my race day outfit. Talk about some motivation to get out and go running! I've started to set little goals for myself.
Run my whole long run: New top.
Run every training run in a week: New Pants.
Eat right and run: New Jacket!
It's been working so far, give it a try if you need motivation over the next 6 weeks!
