Spanx has done a fantastic job with their new line of basics for women. Fitness shorts, 2 types of capris, a pant, and a removable wrap skirt. The compression fitness short and capri are made from the original Spanx material, the Power Pant and Capri are made from a heavier more familiar "yoga" fabric.

The compression collection looks like traditional Spanx, with the high waist and tight feel. It can be worn as a great baselayer to hold everything together, or by itself.
The Power collection is something new all together, it's AMAZING! The collection has what I call a "tummy band" or what Sara Blakely calls the "bagel buster" that holds your middle in and allows the connected pant to lay flatter across that area.
